September 18 -- Premier FC to hold one-night tournament, AMMO to hold second grappling show

This week at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA, Premier FC will hold its first one-night tournament. The September 18 event will feature eight lightweights paired against each other with the winner receiving $12,000 and the runner up $9,000.
According to information available as of press time, the participating fighters so far include; UFC veteran Estevan Payan; Glory Kickboxing veteran Dylan Salvador; Bellator veteran Sam Watford; former Premier FC title holder Ali Zebian; number four-ranked New England fighter Jacob Bohn; number seven-ranked New England fighter D'Juan Owens; and Fabio Serrao

There will also be a regular card as well. A bout between the tournament finalists and a middleweight championship fight between George Tokkos and Yun Ji will headline the event. The main card also includes;

- Marcel Fortuna versus Tim Caron
- Ras Hylton versus Domingo Barros.
- Tim Flores versus Bramdon Neiford
- Matt Denning versus Sage Philippe.

AMMO Fight League is having its send Top Level Pro Grappling event in South Windsor at Nomads Adventure Quest on September 18. Bill Vigil, who is president of the organization, has released the evening’s card.
The no-gi matchups, with all techniques allowed, will include;

Children’s matchups include three no-gi and one gi bouts. Aaron Obrien and Malakai Risotti will compete with gis on under green belt rules. The other matches, all under grey belt rules with no lower body techniques, will include;
