Gegard Mousasi (47-7-2) defeated Douglas Lima (32-8) by unanimous decision during the main event of Bellator 250 at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The fight allowed Mousassi to regain his middleweight world title with the promotion. Two judges scored the bout 49-46 and one scored it 48-47.
Henry "OK" Corrales (18-5) earned a split-decision win over Brandon Girtz (16-10) during the co-main event. All three judges scored the featherweight bout 30-27.
The main card opened with a middleweight bout between Dalton Rosta (4-0) and Ty Gwerder (5-2). All three judges scored it 30-27 in favor of Rosta.
There were two finishes on the preliminary card. Sabah Homasi (14-8) punched his way to a knockout of Bobby Voelker at :20 in the second round of a welterweight bout. Cody Law (1-0) submitted Orlando Ortega with a D'arce choke at 2:41 in the first round. of a featherweight fight
Jake Hager (3-0 with one no contest) defeated Brandon Coulton (2-1) by split decision during a heavyweight fight on the opening card. All three judges scored it 29-28.
Johnny Eblen (7-0) defeated Taylor Johnson (6-2) by unanimous decision during a middleweight bout. Two judges scored it 30-27 and one scored it 29-28.
Adam Borics (15-1) defeated Erick Sanchez (9-6) by unanimous decision during a 150-pound contract weight fight. Two judges scored it 30-27 and one scored it 29-28.
Promoters cancelled a flyweight bout between Veta Arteaga (5-4) and Desiree Yanez (5-2) that had been scheduled for the main card.
Two fights on the preliminary card were also yanked. A lightweight fight between Connecticut favorite Nick Newell (16-3) and Zach Zane (14-9) was cancelled -- according to posts on social media, it was because Newell tested positive for Covid 19. A bantamweight bout between Toby Misech (11-7) and Jared Scoggins (10-1) was also cancelled.
