Updated Fight Card for Reality Fighting on May 4
by Brian Woodman Jr. on 05/02/18The Marlborough-based MMA promotion Reality Fighting is presenting its next event on May 4 at the Mohegan Sun Arena and will again feature two cards -- a grappling card in which competitors win by submission only and a main card with MMA bouts.
The main bout will be a catchweight fight between Anthony Giacchina and Danbury's Dean Hancock, according to information posted on www.tapology.com. Both fighters are Bellator veterans that have been fighting professionally for under four years.
Other potential highlights include an atomweight title fight between Grace Nowak and Marissa Messer-Belenchia.
The grappling portion of the event will include a match between Jon Manley and Oz Parisher. Manley is coming off an unanimous decision victory over Ryan Sanders on March 17 during AMMO Fight League's St. Patrick's Day event at the Big E in West Springfield, MA.
Manley also made a visible impression on spectators at Mohegan Sun during Reality Fighting 100 on Jan. 6. He secured a triangle choke in spectacular fashion, defeating Chris Palmquist in a grappling match.
Palmquist will grapple with Pete Jeffrey of Tri-Force MMA on Friday.
